Union Contract

Collective negotiations take place annually. The negotiations are rounded up by the signature of a Union Contract. Since 1999, when the German group Scholz AG gained ownership of the POLDI Hütte company, the Union Contract has always been made in consent with the Trade Unions and provided the employees with wage/salary increase ranging from three to six per cent.

These all are advantages guaranteed to employees by the Union Contract. All these benefits are fully utilised.

Cooperation with schools

The company cooperates with schools in the Kladno region, some of the schools are even under its patronage. We regularly allow students of technical universities to accomplish their job-experience part of studies or to carry out their final theses in our company.

Safety at Work

Safety and health protection at work is a very important issue for the POLDI Hütte company. We have updated detailed in-house directive "Rules and Instructions for Health and Safety at Work" including directions on personal protective equipment. Staff members received new working clothes – colour differentiated according to various operation units. Preventative inspections and risk assessments in order to eliminate hazards are natural and inherent parts of our operations.
