Heat Treatment Bohemia

Heat Treatment Bohemia (HTB) is a heat treatment centre which, due to its state-of-the-art equipment, provides all types of material heat treatment, refinement of bar steel and forgings in particular.

The processed material maximum dimensions are:
length 6.2 m
width 1.8 m
height 1,8 m
(bars up to max. diameter of 430 mm)
maximum burden weight is 8 tons per furnace.

After heat treatment process, the material is straightened in straightening machines based on customer's requirements, and then adjusted.

The HTB company may, in cooperation with POLDI Hütte, offer further services such as steel surface machining (peeling, stocking, milling), sectioning by saws, ultrasonic testing, mechanical characteristics testing or steel chemical composition analysis.

With all types of heat treatment, the customer is upon request issued with inspection certificates in compliance with the EN 10204 standard. The HTB company was, together with POLDI Hütte, awarded an SMJ certificate issued in compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard. The certificate was prolonged by an re-audit carried out in June 2007.
