Welcome to Poldi Hütte s.r.o.
As the successor companies of Poldi named POLDI Hütte s.r.o. and HEAT TREATMENT BOHEMIA s.r.o. we now continue in the famous tradition of manufacture of forged tool steel and stainless steel with treated or untreated surface.
Now it is ten years since we have been on the market (November 1999) when the company was founded as an independent subsidiary of the parent company-Scholz Edelstahl GmbH, which has its headquarters in Essingen in Germany.
The new owners‘ goal is to return Poldi brand into awareness among consumers and merchants worldwide. All this as a synonym of quality primarily for the production of ingots and forged bars and forgings from tool, high-speed steels and stainless steels. Poldi is targeting the global markets and it bets on its premium quality. Customer satisfaction is centrepiece of all employees‘ and management’s efforts in Poldi.
On 1/10/2009 we officially opened the new production complex in which heart is the forging press STG 4000 with power 40MN, thereby Poldi significantly expanded its product portfolio and its competitiveness. By mastering the production of steel using ladle furnace POLDI Hütte is able to constantly improve product quality and extend the range of other manufactured brands of tools and structural steel meeting the demanding quality requirements.
HEAT TREATMENT BOHEMIA s.r.o. is closely linked to the production cycle POLDI Hütte, by providing heat treatment not only for its own production, but also for heat treatment of materials supplied by external companies.
Poldi Hütte meets the requirements for certification in the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 and for certificate authorizing the production processes of companies: AD 2000 Merkblatt W0, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyd's Register and American Bureau of Shipping.
